Game Jams

These are the video game projects I worked for gamejams (i.e. with very limited dev time).

Mask of the Reaper

STATUS: Done

This game was made for the 12th GBJAM (Gameboy-themed gamejam), with a group of buddies I knew from my old forum-going days.

The game is a top-down action/adventure game (similar to a 2D Zelda), with a capture mechanic that allows the player to take control of enemies.

Castle of the Cosmos

STATUS: Done

This game was made for the 11th GBJAM (Gameboy-themed gamejam), with a group of buddies I knew from my old forum-going days.

The game is a top-down adventure game, with combat based on elementally-infused projectiles.

Swap-em-up: Jutsu

STATUS: Unfinished

This game was done with my brother and a couple of buddies from the 42 school, for the GTMK 2018 gamejam.

The theme of the gamejam was “GENRE game, but you can’t MECHANIC”. For this game, that would be beat-em-up/twin-stick shooter, but without being able to shoot/hit enemies. Instead, the player character has a swap ability, which allows him to switch places with enemy bullets. The player must thus redirect bullets appropriately towards enemies.

Tiger Woods Golf Tour

STATUS: Done

This was a pretty silly game made with a my brother and couple of buddies from the 42 school, for 41st ludum dare gamejam.

It is a simple puzzle-platformer game, where you play as a large muscular tiger wielding a golf club. The goal is to send the white golf ball into the goalpost - though the terrain is very treacherous. To work against the terrain, the titular tiger can place (and golf) bombs, which explode and destroy/alter the terrain.
