Parody music

Here are some not-serious dumb parody songs I made - there are several approaches to this.

Musical caricature

These are songs that use typical clichés of certain artists/genres, to caricature many styles of music.

All of these songs (or rather, “short loops” is better name for what these are) were made using Garageband for iOS.

Shocking “remixes”

Here are some intentionally-horrible remixes, made entirely using Audacity - messing up the waveform in several manners.

These remixes are meant to be horrendously dissatisfying to listen to - and furthermore, these are meant to make fun of their original counterparts. Typically, because the original song in question has been overused, and/or become a well-known internet meme.

As such, I am quite confident that these parody-remixes could be protected under the fair use doctrine, since they directly intend to make fun of the original song.

To me, these parodies are not just fun to produce, but also hilarious to listen to! Although, from my experience, and what I’ve noticed, it seems that the sense of humor varies a lot from person to person for this kind of stuff.
